Let me take you a little «behind the scenes» and give you some information on who I am, what I’ve done, and what I currently do for a living.

First of all, my name is Haavard Aurstad, 24 years old, not (yet) married and I’m the guy behind Aurstad.org (Aurstad Consulting) as well as Twitter account @aurstad

I’m a hardworking self-taught guy who specialize in helping people building their online business. I’ve gone from literally knowing nothing about internet or business what so ever, to building web pages, doing advertising, and mostly everything related to business online.

Before I got started in business, I grew up like most do, from scratch. I owe my youngest sister a big thanks for her inspiration in becoming a good business guy.

The first business deal I made was in my early age. I traded my service, which at that time was to make beds and run errands on behalf of others. My sister were one of my biggest «customer», and doing business with her were pleasing to my young wallet.

I grew up under normal conditions and I remember the day getting our first computer in my early teens, although computers had been around for some time, nobody around my place were that familiar with the whole computer and the world wide web. So we got to hire a local tech savvy guy to arrange with what we needed. You bet I was a pain in the ass asking WAY to many questions… Poor guy!

Well if you wanna learn, you gotta ask right? That was my early philosophy.

I wasn’t very good at the whole school thing and the place I found my inspiration was by watching the big guys. At the age of 15 I got my interest into stock trading, and I spent quite some time following the stocks as well as visiting one of the local banks in town just to have a chat with the guys behind the financial head. Getting a young boy like me on visit wasn’t something they were used to, but I were gladly accepted to have a chat and to be told the latest news and what were to come.

My Take Off Point…

It took a lot of time, but I learned each and every day as the time went by. In august 2002 at an age of 17 I was introduced by an older friend who’d been in business along time to a join an online business opportunity. Although I’d gotten quite familiar with the Internet at that time, this was the takeoff point in my business career.

I remember the first meeting I met up with my older friend to discuss the offer. I were young and this was something new for me. Looking for new ways to expand myself and my knowledge, I decided to give it a try. So I start small taking one step at a time, but once I felt comfortable I scaled it up taking it further.

I spent a lot of time getting to know the community and I even volunteered to help just to get to know them. And soon after I got the change to help out.

Huge benefit to me just to be around new people and focus on the things I wanted to archive. They were all there doing the same things I enjoyed.

I also got to go travel all over the world and meet with so many great people at seminars and holidays etc. and that’s something I’ll never forget – and still a dream for many.

Looking back over those years, it’s incredible to see how much effect these little things you do early in your life could affect you future.

I surrounded myself with the people in the business that I looked up to – and it inspired me a lot.

Since then I’ve been doing business for 7 straight years at this time, and I’ve been quite successful at my age.
